Ashley is currently an Art Teacher at a small private school for students with special needs on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Previously she taught Kindergarten, 1st grade as well as 6th, 7th and 8th at PS/IS 78 in LIC. Ashley graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University with a degree in Art and Art Education. She has experience working with children from Pre-K to 12th grade as well as students with special needs. Ashley has volunteered for various art programs around New York City such as Free Arts, Art Start and Apple Arts which bring art education to youth that might not have access to the arts otherwise. She works across a variety of mediums in her own artistic practice including printmaking, sculpture and photography.
