GENERAL STUDIO POLICIES
Studio Behavior Policy
Art Strong NYC can prohibit a family from attending an event, class, or camp due to disruption to the class or harm caused to another child. If you are removed from a class or session you will receive a refund minus the classes that you participated in.
Adult & Me Classes
One adult per child registered for the class will be allowed in the studio for all Adult & Me classes.
Strollers
Strollers are not permitted inside the studio due to space limitations. You are welcome to leave them right outside the studio but we are not responsible if they are lost or stolen.
MAKE UP CLASSES
Little Explorers
Make ups must be completed within the session that you are registered for. You are permitted 1 makeup class per session (space permitting). If you don’t use your makeup class before your session ends it will be forfeited without credit and refunds.
Art Explorers
Make ups must be completed within the session that you are registered for. You are permitted 2 makeup classes per session (space permitting). If you don’t use your makeup class before your session ends it will be forfeited without credit and refunds.
Summer Camp & Day Camps
No make ups are offered.
After School
No make ups are offered.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
Summer Camp
If you cancel on or before May 1st 2024, you will receive a refund minus a $100 fee for each week and child that you are canceling.
If you cancel between May 2nd 2024 and June 1st 2024, you will receive a 50% refund for each week and child that you are canceling.
After June 1st there are no refunds.
There are no credits offered for camp cancellations for any reason.
Day Camps
1 week or more from camp start date: Refund minus a $35 cancellation fee per day that you registered.
Less than 1 week from camp start date: No credits or refunds will be given.
After School
After School is a semester long commitment (either September through December OR January through June). There are no credits, refunds, or transfers. There are no make ups for days missed.
Little Explorers
If you sign up for a Little Explorers session (6 classes) a refund of 75% of the cost of the session will be issued if cancellation is requested more than one week before the first class. There are no refunds within 1 week of your first class or once a session has already begun.
Art Explorers
If you sign up for an Art Explorers session (10+ classes) a refund of 75% of the cost of the session will be issued if cancellation is requested more than one week before the first class. Should you cancel once the session has already begun, you will only be refunded for 50% of the classes you will NOT attend.
Open Studio & Other Events
If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, you are eligible for a credit for a future event. Credits are valid for up to 3 months. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, no credits or refunds will be given.
